For some reason, most men seem completely oblivious on how to pick up women. Part of the plight may be that single men rely on each other or on bad movie lines for tips on how to catch a pretty girl. Forget pickup lines. Here are ten easy ways to pick up ladies that will impress any woman.
Like I said before, ditch the pickup lines. No, seriously. I can’t tell you the number of guys who had a perfectly good chance to get a date with me until a humdrum line left their lips. You don’t want to look desperate. Ditch the lines.
When speaking to a woman, always speak intelligently. Don’t curse. Use obedient grammar and be respectful. Try to look like you at least went to college, even if you didn’t.
Don’t just ask a random cute girl in a club if she wants a drink. As a woman, I can voice you that a lot of cute girls go to bars just to get free drinks from poor lonely saps like yourself. You’ll buy her the drink and she will slay up with it and her girlfriend out on the dance floor – without you. If you offer a woman a drink, do it only after she has made eye contact with you herself and seems interested in you. Feel free to walk over to her at that time and offer the drink.
Don’t be afraid to talk with a girl if she is with her friends. Women usually are with their friends because there is safety in numbers. If you approach a girl, politely say hello to her friends, but keep your attention on her. Girls like to feel singled out and important and you don’t want to look like you are desperate or trying t take the whole group home with you.
Dress to impress. Don’t dress like a pimp. Dress NICE. Shop in a few nicer clothing stores and invest in attractive clothing. Don’t be tremulous to ask a woman in the store to help you. Let her know you want to dress to impress a woman. She will be more than happy to help.
Do you have a dog? Put him to generous use. It may seem like a cheap trick, but it’s true: women catch a guy with a dog irresistible. Take him for a walk or play ball at a busy park. Women think it’s cute when a guy has a soft spot for animals.
Resist all urges to make yourself peep like a complete idiot. Do not play your music in your car loud or bob your head to the tune. Do not lean serve in your car seat with one wrist draped over the steering wheel. Do NOT rev your engine for any reason at any time and above all, NEVER peel out or burn rubber in your car. Women absolutely dislike these things, yet men still sigh on thinking they look cool when they do it. The only thing you WILL gaze like is a complete fool.
Don’t be assertive. It is intimidating to women. If she says no or seems uninterested, do NOT pursue it further. Go away and don’t take it personally. Women are pretty, so they can be choosy. You may have to go through a lot to find a good one who is accepting of you. It doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with you. Women just know that they have options, so we like to wait it out sometimes and see what all will come along.
Do not make sexual remarks to women. We find it insulting and a little scary. Don’t introduce yourself by mentioning a woman’s looks or by eyeing her up and down. No woman wants to feel like a worthless piece of meat. We are not hookers, so don’t talk to us like we are.
If you ask a woman her name and she seems interested in you, try not to talk about yourself too much. Women like to see that you are interested in them and we love to talk about ourselves. Show interest, be truthful, and never try to impress a woman. You would be surprised at how well we can see through that.
When picking up women, don’t limit yourself to going out to clubs. A lot of women go to clubs just to have fun with their friends and get free drinks. You are more likely to get a date if you catch a woman off her guard. If you see a sweet girl at the cash register in a gift shop or book store you have stopped in, you might want to take the opportunity to be nice and chat with her while she is ringing you up. Then, when she’s done feel free to ask her if she is single and would like to go out sometime.
